Since the economy is humming along, Republicans can only sling mud.

The stock market is in free-fall at the moment. Shares of Intel, for example, just dropped 24% overnight and they're laying off 15% of their workforce (15,000 people). That's the lowest stock price for Intel in just over 10 years.

Amazon also down 10 percent overnight and to their lowest value since February.

It goes up and it goes down. Wash rinse and repeat. This just makes a rate cut in September more likely. They’ve cooled inflation with high interest rates and now it’s time to bring it down. Signs of cooling like this will cause the fed to adjust. By all accounts we should have had a recession and we managed to avoid one.

The Trump team jumped on it as the Republican party has issues with the trans community. Other prominent people also jumped on board. It will be interesting to see how many of these folks retract their misinformed statements and how many will keep pounding away at it. I doubt many will retract but I feel the trump team will keep it up just like trump continues to talk about his opponents race.
