WSJ: Trump Attacks Harris’s Identity, Saying He Didn’t Know She Was Black

From everything I have read this morning the events of yesterday have turned the Trump campaign machine upside down. His handlers are attempting spin with no luck. They are blaming the reporters for what came out of his mouth. Why is it nothing is ever his fault? I agree that the campaign they laid out for Biden has been turned upside down and they have no clue how to go against Harris. For their sake I hope they figure it out quickly or he is going to be the reason he loses.

I think this is one of the best periods since the mother fucker came down that elevator almost 10 years ago. Of course he doesn't have the humility for it, but there is NOBODY to blame for this but himself. Karma. Schadenfreude. Justice. Enjoy this moment, it could easily turn.

He actually said this:

"She was always of Indian heritage. And she was only promoting Indian heritage. I didn’t know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black. And now she wants to be known as Black,” Trump said of Harris. “So I don’t know, is she Indian, or is she Black?”

“She has always identified as a Black woman,” Scott interjected.

“But you know what, I respect either one,” Trump said. “But she obviously doesn’t. Because she was Indian all the way then all of a sudden she made a turn. And she became a Black person. And I think somebody should look into that.”

I feel bad for honest people who have to put up with his racist comments. Not his supporters but everyday people. His comments about Jewish voters hit me hard and I can only imagine what black voters are feeling after that disaster yesterday. I think we all hope the people running for the highest office in the country have a certain level of intelligence. Sadly, his racist base will eat this shit up. Even Fox came down on yesterday and of course he went off on them for doing so. I honestly believe he sees nothing wrong with what happened yesterday. Evidence of cognitive issues maybe?

I think he truly believes he is invincible so he can say anything and still be elected and it’s not possible for any comments to ever hurt him. Running against Harris rather than arrogant Hillary or against a capable but declining Biden it doesn’t look like it works that way.
