UAW pulls a Trump

Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

Embarrassing.
If the Union can show that the Employer engaged in illegal practices that impacted the election, then a new vote is in order.

Likewise, if the employer can establish that the Union acted illegally during its organizing campaign, it too can request a new vote.

These kind of charges are filed all the time, often successfully.

The union lost by 12 percentage points. That's not particularly close.

No but if the charges are true that is what would be an example of pulling a Trump as the allegations are for patently illegal things done anyway and try to stop us.

My Union conducted an organizing drive at a WalMart store in Ontario.

We lost the vote, but the Employer' conduct during the campaign had been so egregious, we didn't even request a re-vote. We requested and were awarded an automatic certification.

Of course, our spineless liberal government right away changed the rules so that in any future campaigns, the only remedy available for the workers is a re-vote.

How fast did Walmart up and close the place?

Within weeks. Just as they had threatened to do during the organizing drive.

That's bullshit that they overturned the will of the people who voted for no union. What a spineless move that was - props to the liberal government for fixing that. Additionally, that is EXACTLY what Trump was trying to do: overturn the results he didn't like.
