When do the police start being held accountable for trampling First Amendment rights? No violence or vandalism. And unlike Jan 6, no one died or was injured.
More than 1,000 protesters were marching through Manhattan on Monday evening, reported the New York Post.

The demonstrators set out from Hunter College, where pro-Palestinian activist group Within Our Lifetime held a "Day of Rage" rally starting at 5 p.m. before marching toward the Met Gala. The protesters were met with heavy police presence and several people were seen being arrested by New York Police Department officers.

Just tell us what the parachute represents and we can move on.
What are the Vegas odds for a kid's mortality in Rafah?

Higher than the odds of you explaining the parachute or admitting you screwed up.
OK rate, what do you think the parachute image means?

How did the image creator intend it to mean?

I think this debate or a cartoon is one H*** distraction. It was mean as a support to stop the senseless killing of over 30,000 humans, actual out of the womb people.

When this is done, do we get to discuss the ongoing atrocities to women and children? Or is that aspect to this entire situation not as important as protestors and cartoons?
I have no skin in the game but you essentially scored an own goal on yourself asking about odds. The cartoon very likely implies what bmw thinks it does. Personally if the whole situation fell off a cliff I wouldn’t be unhappy.

It's not going away, IDF is about to make things worse.

Very likely... but you have to understand... both sides can fly a kite.

To my point; Children are not part of either side. How is this be lost on you?

You have repeatedly condemned Israel for killing children. I'm curious though, as maybe I've missed it somewhere - have you ever once condemned Hamas for using children as human shields?

Sure, that is awful too. But Hamas is globally acknowledged as a terrorist organization, are you suggesting that since the IDF now employs killing civilians, it too should be called terrorists? These attacks are not defensive.

The two sides were very close to an agreement when IDF started this latest offensive where there are a Million civilians.

I fear for the human loss of innocent people.

And their circumstances are unfortunate. If you want the cold hard scientific version… humanity can afford for them to go off a cliff too and not blink. They’ll be replaced in a few days.

None of the plight of children there is lost on me by the way… however what exactly do you propose we do? Understand neither side cares a whit about the others children.

And thus, global pressure from countries that do care. We are back to the power of protest. It is having an impact.

So whatever happened to sovereign nations staying out of the business of other sovereign nations?

Israel is doing what it views as best for its country. Ultimately, Iran is at the root of the problem as they're the nation providing a lot of the funding to Hamas, and they have repeatedly stated that if they had the power to do so, they would wipe Israel off the face of the map. You seem to be hiding behind the fact that Hamas is a terrorist organization while Israel is a civilized nation, and as such, you apparently hold Israel to a higher standard. Fair enough, but you pretend like Hamas is some kind of self-sufficient terrorist organization with no ties to any nations. So I would suggest that the protests are misplaced; what should be being protested is Iran's funding of Hamas.

Priority one has to be to flush out the terrorists. FULL STOP. No matter how you slice it, nothing gets better and nothing changes until Hamas is completely removed. If they aren't, then this will just happen all over again in a few years. Even with high civilian and even high child casualties, there is absolutely no other alternative.

Why not create a new generation of terrorists from ordinary citizens completely ravaged?

Your theory perpetuates the problems we have today in 10 years. It's outdated strategy.

Not how things work when there are clear engagement rules within international law.

The whole "sovereign nation" b.s. is a ultra conservative position.
