Conservative women are more attractive than left-wing females, according to a European study of thousands of faces.

Danish and Swedish researchers tested a deep-learning artificial intelligence, called a neural network, that can predict a person's political leanings the majority of the time, based solely on their headshot.

It found that right wing women more were attractive, based on a publicly available scoring system. The group found no such link in men, but did determine that the left-leaning men showed more neutral, less happy faces, suggesting perhaps better skill at guarding their emotions.

I've given this some thought since I seen the original post yesterday and pondered the women I know personally.
Conservative seem more likely to take care of themselves.
Stay on top of keeping fit, dress a little sharper, styled hair, etc.

Of course I'm not going to say all left leaning women are slobs, and all conservatives are not. I'm not lumping.
I know left leaning women that are very easy on the eyes.
And I know conservative women that remind me of Honey Boo Boo's mom.

But on average, I think the study is correct.

During one election campaign I was out doing some door to door canvasing for our Socialist candidate. Turned out there was a guy canvassing in the same neighbourhood for the Conservative candidate who was also his brother. We stopped and exchanged pleasantries. It was a brutally hot day and he offered me a bottle of water. I already had some but I thanked him. We chatted for awhile, then shook hands. I wished him good luck but quickly added "but not too good." He laughed and wished me likewise.

Later that afternoon, in the lobby of a highrise apartment building, I encountered a woman canvasing for the Liberal candidate. I introduced myself and attempted to start a conversation with her. She didn't say a word. Just gave me a look that would crack glass.

Linerals take themselves waaayyy too seriously.

A few days later, during the same campaign, I met a guy and a women working for the Green Party. We went to Tim's and had a coffee together.

This was a special by-election. to replace a Liberal who had reigned in disgrace. Our candidate won.
