From what I've been reading and seeing, all sorts of folks from all over the political spectrum are saying it was too soon to try to get close to China.
Myself, I agree with Trump's policy "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer".
A lot of people critiqued Donald for being close to Russia. But I think it's not a bad idea to at least act like you're extending an olive branch to the countries that could put a hurt on us if they took a notion.
