Hunter Biden Pleads Guilty

Post by Rate This » Tue Jun 20, 2023 9:47 am

Hunter Biden has plead guilty to Misdemeanor charges related to unpaid taxes and Felony weapons charges related to illegally possessing a weapon as a drug user and reached a plea agreement with the DOJ. This ends the Federal Investigation into Hunter Biden.

I’m glad he was charged. If he did the crimes then he faces the consequences. I’m not gonna stand on my head to defend anybody who gets popped.

Taken from one of the breaking news stories....

The news comes as congressional Republicans pursue their own investigations into nearly every facet of Hunter Biden’s business dealings, including examining foreign payments and other aspects of his finances.

So it is far from done. Will they find anything? who knows.

What can the Republicans do if Hunter pled guilty and, like Rate said, has reached an agreement with the DOJ?

Seems to me it's done.

Smooth move. Admit he's guilty to a few charges. The people that work for Daddy say "We Cool". I'm sure no jail time. Maybe take some assets that don't add up to much just for show.

Seems the continuing investigation is in things not covered by this. To be honest I haven't really followed the whole thing because it is a nothing burger to me.

It’s in the lineage of the Benghazi and Email investigations… lots of hearings and grandstanding and not much else comes of it. We can entertain dirt if they find it but I’m not holding my breath.

I'm in the same boat and always have been. I've long felt Republicans have spent way too much energy going after Hunter Biden. Me personally, I could care less what he did or didn't do.

Now if the road leads to President Biden being involved in some shenanigans, that's another story. There's some serious accusations out there, but I thus far haven't seen any smoking-gun evidence against him.

The Republicans are fixated with conspiracy these days.

I keep getting this idea that Hunter Biden is like 25 years old or something. Idk why I think that, especially when his father is 302 years old or so.

If you reverse the numbers and turn the 5 around and uncurl the tail… you get 37.

I'm sure he was in a meth haze for at least 16 years, so 37 seems about right.

Oh, you mean like "The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" that Hillary claimed was behind allegations that her husband had been messing around with a young White House intern named Monica Lewinsky?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Funny thing about that… there IS a highly coordinated effort among those on the right to stay on message and there ARE talking points released by the RNC every week. All those conservative media figures aren’t on the same page every single time by accident.
