This is an easy one.

If employers could get away with paying cis females less money for the exact work that a cis male does, they would hire only cis females.

But that’s not the case.

Here’s what really happens.

Man works 12 months a year and gets paid for the year’s work.

Woman works six months a year, has a baby and takes off the other six months, and makes less for working six months instead of 12.

Then she bitches (see what I did there) about earning less.

Woman: “Why do I make less than the men around here?”

Boss: “You literally worked half as much as him.”

Woman: “What does that have to do with anything?! You should pay me the same regardless! I’m joining a union!”

To a certain extent, I'm going to have to agree with keto on this.
I wouldn't go as far as to say the women I've worked with take a half a year off.
But they do take more time off than their male counterparts for this, that and the other thing.
Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. There's no going back, and we can only go forward before we run out of runway.

You shouldn’t hate yourself, Bidengirl.
They/them, non-binary and proud.

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

I know women that have had babies, stayed at home, and did their work from home. They were at home for 6 months, but were still working.
