Mike Pence - testing the waters?

Post by MWmetalhead » Wed Nov 09, 2022 6:54 pm

Saw promos for an hour long upcoming town hall on CNN (cannot recall the date and time) and for a sit down interview with David Muir this coming Monday on ABC World News Tonight.

The town hall is normally something only candidates for elected office do.

Is he about to throw his hat into the ring for 2024?

I know two people who would gladly vote for him-my parents.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

He should keep it on his head, to deter flies from landing there.

I believe so… if Trump runs the fly is the only voter he’ll have.

VP's from Indiana never have much luck with advancement.

Well, it's not his fault he was only in for one term. His second term was stolen from him in a fraudulent election.

Except HE never said that...

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

He didn't have to say it. It's a well known fact.

I have no idea what Pence's intentions are, but my best guess is that this is more of a book tour than anything else. He does, after all, have a new book upcoming called "My last days with Donald Trump."

He wrote the book partly to test the waters I think.

Don't count Pence out of anything. He held his own in Indiana politics for a long time and.. wait, what am I saying?

My favorite Pence story is his "syndicated" radio show. Based out of Indy, it was on any number of small market stations in the state. Then he hired his own affiliate person, and each new station seemed to have something in common. Yep, in short order he was on in every market in one particular IN Congressional district... the one where he got elected to serve.

That's not exactly true as I have first hand knowledge of the Pence radio show. As it has no bearing on his political situation I won't go into it here.
