China’s dim prospects turn disastrous
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

I think they will continue to make goods and ship them regardless of where they're monetary challenges reside. Their citizens still need jobs their customers still need their products and everything else is wrangling.
The reality is that North America won't be producing the items that China produces for the world.

Taiwan(I guess China still considers it theirs, but...), Bangladesh, Malaysia, India, and others might have something to say about that.TC Talks wrote: ↑Mon Aug 29, 2022 8:17 pmI think they will continue to make goods and ship them regardless of where they're monetary challenges reside. They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

The main point is that debt is theoretical when you're an economy as big as China. Audiophile is not a fan of China and seems to look for evidence of their failure. They still are a dominant economic force. Of course the guy fears socialism as an existential threat.

That's true. It's just like the U.S. really to a larger extent. Hard to cut out such a larger piece of the market. It's a lot different than Greece. All I was saying is that nearby countries can and do produce shitty goods too as well as haggle down the cost of labor just as hard as China.

Who does China owe the money to?
Re: China’s dim prospects turn disastrous
In other China-related news, they're apparently no fans of Elon Musk's Starlink.
https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/1879 ... s-starlinkIn December 2021, China filed a complaint with the United Nations, claiming that two of Musk's Starlink satellites had nearly collided with the Tianhe module of its Tiangong Space Station -- in April and October of 2021-- and that Chinese astronauts had been forced to maneuver the module of the station to avoid the collision...The United States rejected China's claims that the Starlink satellites had endangered China's space station...
China is now taking things a step further: Chinese military researchers are threatening that Musk's Starlink satellites must be destroyed. The problem, however, does not appear so much to be the fear of collision, but rather that China believes that Starlink could be used for military purposes and thereby threaten what China calls its national security.
Five senior scientists in China's defense industry...recently wrote that "a combination of soft and hard kill methods should be adopted to make some Starlink satellites lose their functions and destroy the constellation's operating system."
