Pulling receipts on all these motherfuckers is completely petty but it's hilarious.

Why don't we just legalize counterfeiting money so we can all just print our own? Free money for everybody! Money for you, and money for you, and money for you....

Corporate welfare is okay, but fuck the middle class. Way to go, Matt and MW.
They/them, non-binary and proud.

I've long opposed most corporate tax credits or MEDC-type programs where well connected business people get sweetheart financing. I am no fan of crony capitalism.

Wasn't the loan "forgiveness" language included in the original documents for the PPP loans?? Wasn't it required you meet certain criteria in order to qualify for that part of the program?

I doubt any such language was in the original documents for the college loans, which were signed and agreed to by the borrowers. I still say they should have to give up any credits or degrees "earned" that were paid for by those funds.

Those loans and such are automatically forgiven after 20 years. So yes that language is there. It’s the only explanation for how I stop paying on mine in 2033… owe $56,000 and pay $220 a month. The math doesn’t add up unless it has an expiration date.

Why don't we all come up with silly ideas to illustrate our frustration that low income folks can get an incentive to better themselves?

If you're making the minimum payments, would you have paid as much in interest over the 20 year period as the initial loan amount?

$125,000 for an individual is low income? In what world?

My loan was at .25% interest and when I looked last night that’s automatically been reduced to zero.

Terrific, some people work smart, others don't work at all. Speaking of Trump (who inherited 350 million dollars of real estate, some stolen from his siblings), he once said:

"I take advantage of everything I can get". Any thoughts about all the welfare he gets from my taxes?

Matt,

You can have an income of $150,000 in some places and qualify for a low income housing credit. That does seem ridiculous, but there is a reason.

So, here's why conservatives want to keep the poor uneducated. It's pretty hard to prey on the poor when education is affordable.
Student loan forgiveness undermines one of our military’s greatest recruitment tools at a time of dangerously low enlistments.

That's an incredibly stupid opinion from Jim Banks (whoever the hell that is).

For the record, I have no issue whatsoever with loan payment deferral or partial forgiveness for those who truly need it due to legitimate financial hardship. Such options have existed for federal student aid borrowers for decades.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.
