Biden now the most unpopular president at this point in his Presidency

Post by bmw » Sun Jun 12, 2022 10:45 pm

Remember the days when the main defense the left had for Biden was "at least he's more popular than Trump?' Yeah, those were fun times. He's now the most unpopular President in modern times, going back to at least Harry Truman in the 1940s. Per Project 538's polling average at this point in each President's first term:

70.9 Kennedy
70.3 George W. Bush
69.2 George HW Bush
67.1 Johnson
62.1 Eisenhower
59.0 Nixon
51.0 Clinton
46.4 Obama
45.0 Reagan
44.3 Ford
43.1 Truman
42.4 Trump
42.1 Carter
40.2 Biden

A link is always nice when tossing out statistics.

As to your opening sentence I'm not sure that was a "main defense" although it was tossed out.

Thanks for doing bmw's work for him. I could have looked it up but it is incumbent on the OP to provide sourcing.

I mentioned the source. It took literally 2 seconds to google it, not sure why you're making a big deal out of it. TCT routinely posts long quotes and doesn't even mention the source (let alone link it) and I don't recall you ever once calling him out for that.

And btw - 99 times out of 100 I do post links. Look back at my posts. Always sourced. Why you feel the need to make a federal case out of my one oversight is fascinating and pretty much amounts to trolling.

I've called TCT out many times for not linking.

As have I. My post was targeted at Craig.

But back on topic...is a 40.2 and the worst in 80 years a fair approval ratings for Joe Biden? I actually think it is too high. I don't know how anybody can objectively look at the Biden presidency and say "yep, I approve of the job he's doing."

Those that have to deal the least with the consequences of liberal policies tend to be the most supportive of liberal policies.
That is certainly true. But there can't be many people left other than the uber-rich who aren't feeling to some extent the effects of Biden's policies.

Perhaps Biden and Robert Mueller can share a room when they are admitted to the Georgetown drooling academy. Blame it on "inflation"

It's bad, and he needs to step down and clean house at this point.

Matt, go easy now, a late admission is better than no admission.

I think a Trump loss and a Biden win taught an invaluable lesson, that those woke limousine-liberals are not working for Americans, at all.

I don't regret my vote. I stopped a fascist, but Biden needs to go now.
