Give a listen to to the podcast Unsung Science, episode 'Tornado Alley is Shifting Eastward--and We're Not Ready.
It discusses the influences of temp and drought causing the 'alley to move East into areas that traditionally did not have to deal with them in numbers and how the danger is bigger because of it.
One of my properties in Tennessee just got a significant rate hike by the insurance company to cover tornados. That's an industry that doesn't care about ignorance or politics, but does follow data and actual weather occurrences.

Climate change denial is largely driven by the Koch brothers network of organizations to slow the progression of green energy initiatives.

If you ever wonder why people think you're an insufferable douche, it is EVERY word of this post.

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

In all fairness, it was 90 degrees the day before
all that snow fell.

Once again......climate and weather are 2 different things.

Climate change is now being blamed for lost sleep.

https://www.newscientist.com/article/23 ... ntent=news
Analysis of data from sleep-tracking wristbands in 68 countries reveals that unusually hot nights are causing people to fall asleep later, rise earlier and sleep less

Which is why every little, or big, weather anomaly can't automatically be explained by man made climate change.

The old lady said she was expecting nine inches last night and I didn't disappoint.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

That's why Louis Carrier invented something called "air conditioning" for godsakes!

Just curious...how much time have you spent along Colorado's Front Range? Judging by how your are overreacting to this, my guess is very little.

Usually about a week a year...my sister lives outside Denver. That's what she said when I laughed about the day to day difference...."It's Denver!".

Not sure how I "overeacted" exactly.

At your age, I'm surprised you can do it three times in one night....

MCRF must have forgot about the F5 Beecher tornado that hit this time of year 69 years ago.

116 dead, 844 Injured.

Did I talk about this time of year as far as tornadoes? No. Michigan has them in May. Minnesota had never had a tornado in December dating back to 1881.
