More evidence that Collins, Fauci, and others committed treason

Post by Matt » Sat May 14, 2022 8:27 am

Treason: Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

National Institutes of Health acting director Lawrence Tabak confirmed to lawmakers Wednesday that US health officials concealed early genomic sequences of COVID-19 at the request of Chinese scientists — but insisted the data remains on file.

Tabak told a House Appropriations subcommittee that the NIH “eliminated from public view” the data from the pandemic epicenter in Wuhan, China, before adding that researchers can still access it via an archaic “tape drive.”

Vanity Fair recently reported that the information was hidden in response to a request from Chinese scientists, despite potentially resolving whether the virus leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology or passed naturally from animals to humans.

...

In a March 31 article, Vanity Fair reported that evolutionary biologist Jesse Bloom discovered last year that early COVID-19 sequences had disappeared from a federally run data repository.

When Bloom raised the issue, he was reportedly ganged up on by a group of researchers assembled by then-NIH Director Francis Collins and infectious disease institute head Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Bloom shared a draft academic paper with Collins and Fauci, who allegedly objected on a June 2021 Zoom video conference to Bloom’s description of Chinese scientists “surreptitiously” removing the sequences. Fauci said the word was “loaded” and implied a coverup, the report said.

Evolutionary biologist Kristian Andersen, who was selected to participate on the call by Collins, allegedly told Bloom that the Wuhan team had a right to claw back early pandemic information and that it was unethical for Bloom to question it.

Andersen allegedly went so far as to offer to delete Bloom’s article from a “preprint” server “in a way that would leave no record that this had been done.”

What's more pathetic: harassing an old man who is paying to do a radio show or supporting a grifter like Trump?

It's difficult to say China is an "Enemy," in a legal sense, of the United States when it is (still) our largest trading partner.

There was no official declaration, and there is no active declaration, that China is an "Enemy" for foreign policy and commercial purposes.

The suggestion that the unethical actions - and arguably illegal actions - described in the excerpt you posted constitutes "War" is one I simply cannot accept.

I will say the actions described are almost certainly tortious, which is one reason why the legal doctrine of Qualified Immunity needs to be revisited.

I remember 2 years ago when rumors began that the virus may have escaped from a lab the MSM was quick to jump on it as fake news and almost unilaterally disregard it.
Now that it seems to be a distinct possibility, that same MSM is reporting on it like they never disregarded it in the beginning.

The MSM is pretending like their entire first year of reporting on various Covid-related topics never happened.

As to the accusation of treason, I think I'm with MW on this one. It is difficult to consider China an enemy when probably half the stuff you have in your house right now was manufactured there.

I would love to know who concocted the Wuhan live animal market / bat bite theory.

If any party is guilty of stirring the Asian stereotype pot, it is certainly that one.

Why is Fauci commonly referred to as "the nation's leading infectious diseases expert?". Does being a multi generational bureaucrat in a particular field automatically earn oneself such a proclamation?

The NY Post is a garbage rag.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

The NY Post is a garbage rag.
The way you detailed the items in the Post's article that were factually incorrect was absolutely breathtaking.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

What should scare you more is that there is no commission to do any follow-up on the virus so we know what worked and what did not. Like the 1918 pandemic... Why did more die in Philadelphia than St Louis? What measures were more effective? Why do some counties have a lower or higher rate?
We are just doomed to repeat. Like folks said on FOX, "It's only the flu!"

One would hope the CDC would coordinate such a study. Not holding my breath on that, of course.

Any such study, if done properly, would show numerous massive failures by government. Not gonna happen. The people who were in power will NEVER admit that ANYTHING they did was a failure.

Was Japan an enemy BEFORE it bombed Pearl Harbor?

I'm not sure how the two situations are analogous. Although the gain of function research was risky and irresponsible, there is no evidence that it was performed with malevolence in mind.

The cover-up after the virus "got loose" is highly unethical and I would contend criminal, but even if factual info were disseminated as to the source of the virus on day one, I cannot see how that would've changed health outcomes in the least.

Back to your question, based on the events of 1940 and early 1941, I would definitely argue Japan was, in fact, a known enemy of the United States prior to the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Heavy economic and financial sanctions against Japan were in effect, and Japan had begun to strategically align itself with Germany and Italy. The U.S.'s foreign policy was to support China with regard to the military incursions by the Japanese against China, which began in the late 1930s.

Hey Matt - now you may finally have a good reason to vote for Trump if he runs again. Fauci has announced that if Trump wins, he will resign.

Fauci screwed up by saying that and looks like a partisan hack. He should have said I'll serve if I'm called for by any president.
