Per Capita, the states with the least COVID restrictions were consistently near the top of the list. Followed by states with comorbid seniors. Florida is the worst being so wreckless with such a senior population.
Again, from above:
The study ranks Florida 28th in mortality, in the middle off the pack and about the same as California, which ranks 27th despite its far more stringent lockdowns and school closures. But Florida ranks third for the least education loss and 13th in economic performance. California ranks 47th overall because its shutdowns crushed the economy (40th) and in-person school (50th).
Florida was NOT reckless.

Your "data" had nothing to do with the safety or welfare of people. Who cares about money during a pandemic.

Fun fact. Four in 10 residents of Florida are over 50, which is the fifth-highest percentage in the country. Still, with 40% of the population in the highest mortality age group, they experienced 342 Covid deaths per 100k residents. While Michigan, with 32% of it's population aged 50 and older, experienced 358 Covid deaths per 100k residents.

Was the economic loss, (Note to TC Bleats: federal tax money spent to keep business afloat is still economic loss) education loss, additional teen suicides and increased drug and alcohol addiction created by the draconian lockdowns Michigan implemented worth it?

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

The vaccine is the ONLY reason we have the "normalcy" of life we have now. You spent dozens upon dozens of posts decrying the shot. Now, with hindsight, you're trying to point others wrongs, completely ignoring your gross error.
Your broad generalization of my position is incorrect. What I decried was the forcing of certain groups getting the shot who IMO didn't need the shot. Specifically, people in low risk groups. My position hasn't changed on this with "hindsight." My position is and has always been that the oldest 20% of the population by age should probably get the shot as should most people not in that group who had significant pre-existing conditions. Everybody else, as a group, is better off with natural immunity, given their STARKLY lower mortality rate, because natural immunity has a higher efficacy rate that lasts longer than does the protection offered by vaccination. That last claim is a FACT.

And remember my other theory that I espoused multiple times in here - that we risk multi-re-infection circulation of Covid through groups of vaccinated people. Over the past week or so there has been a (albeit modest) uptick in Covid cases in some states. Want to take a guess on the relative vaccination status of those states? I won't post any graphs since you all decried them repeatedly, but here is some raw data straight from the NYT this morning:

1. Vermont (2)
2. Rhode Island (1)
3. Alaska (24)
4. Colorado (14)
5. New York (7)
6. Massachusetts (5)
7. New Jersey (9)
8. Connecticut (4)
9. Maine (3)
10. New Hampshire (15)

The number in () is each state's vaccination ranking out of 50. Note that 7 of the 10 top 10 most vaccinated states also find themselves on the top 10 per-capita case-rate hotspots (even more interesting is that the 2 most vaccinated states in the whole country have more covid than any other state). Moreover, all 10 states that have the most Covid are in the top 1/2 of states by vaccination status. ALL TEN. Don't tell me there's no correlation there.

And btw - the same correlation exists in the least vaccinated states. They're currently the states with the least Covid. In fact, 9 of the 10 states with the least Covid have vaccination rates lower than 9 of the 10 states listed above.

And after reviewing the request it looks like it's going to happen. See how that works?
Wrong again. Our cunt of a president extended the mandate for 15 days.

It's pure politics. I don't know why TCT was naive enough to believe that they would actually do away with the mandate. They're going to keep it going for as long as they can so they at least have SOMETHING still in place as far as a federal regulation, because once all regulations are gone, it is hard to start them back up from scratch.

Cases went up, so the mask mandate gets extended. Makes sense to anyone who is not a simpleton.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

So you require a mandate to wear a mask? If you want to wear a mask, then wear one. Nobody would be stopping you, even absent a mandate.

because simply, people like you shouldn't be making any important decisions.
