China, again...

This is absolutely despicable: China had enough influence to delay Putin's illegal war crimes and ABSOLUTELY could have prevented the illegal attack on Ukraine. They chose not to.

Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

They and Russia do seem to be increasingly chummy with one another.

Any official, politician, or government siding with Russia or refusing to condemn Putin is vile, in my view.

Yet the U.S. continues to purchase oil from Russia?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

This is not surprising and the meeting between Putin and Ping cemented my decision to boycott the games.

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.

I completely agree Bryce; we should stop purchasing Russian oil immediately. It's absurd such action has not already been taken.

It is already a de facto ban. The oil ships are being denied access as are most of the assets from Russian oil companies.

We can and probably are in the process of doing so, but that said, it will create some difficulties for refineries because of their dependence on "heavy oil", or oil rich in sulfur. That said, heavy oil isn't a truly rare commodity and we can cut Russia out, just need other places to marginally increase capacity. The Middle East, Mexico, Venezuela, even Central Europe can produce it.

We need to confiscate the Russian oil. Let the tankers unload, but not pay the Russians for it.
