MLK shared most of the same ideals as Malcolm X and certainly wasn't a believer in being color blind. Wow.

Most of the ecumenical community in Traverse City avoids the salvation army because of their beliefs about lgbtq issues. They're widely regarded as being a bit bigoted and they have their supporters. But they're not a collaborative organization with the rest of the community. Frankly, the organization I'm affiliated with wants nothing to do with them.

We have a lot of problems with homophobic parents emotionally abusing their kids in the poor ignorant rural areas surrounding Traverse City.
