Why can't we stop Fentanyl, Oxycodone, and Heroin shipments as easily?

Disagreeing with Communists is NOT an impeachable offense.

If the oil pipeline issue is providing a shortage of gasoline on the east coast, shouldn't the gas prices here be getting cheaper?? Supply and demand issue?

No they would get more expensive. Our demand would stay the same but some of our supply would be diverted. Everything is an excuse to raise gas prices. Fell in the shower today? That’ll be a 10 cent increase. Get hit by a bus? 50 cents.

Or saying your pipeline got hacked?
Every article I've read says they shut themselves down after they say they got hacked. I haven't seen anything saying the hack is what shut them down.

I'm not saying it wasn't a good idea to shut down. But it sounds to me like turning your car off because the engine light came on. It's still running but just to be safe.

That’s what it sounds like to me as well. But you notice “a refinery went down today in East BFE…” causes gas prices to jump.

Frost in Brazil. Flooding in Asia. The death of a third world despot. A celebrity divorce. They can all put upward pressure on the price at the pump.

I started out with nothing and I still have most of it.

It was the Russians who did it. They would not do this without the knowledge (or even blessing) of the Kremlin. They are watching our reactions to it, and how long it takes us to recover.

If those drugs are being transported through a 5,500 mile metal pipe your idea may have some merit...
