Tigers Woods gets special treatment from the L.A. Sheriff's Department

First, the fact the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. claimed that it had to request "permission" from Woods to release the cause of his vehicular collision is total bullshit. Who has ever heard of such a thing?!?!

The causes of vehicular collisions involving common people are routinely reported in the news media.

Now comes word that Woods was driving his vehicle at a completely outrageous speed - about 85 mph - in a 45 mph zone. He won't even receive so much as a speeding ticket.

Un-fucking-believable.

As if there weren't enough reasons to hate Los Angeles (and to not trust police agencies in general) already!

Paul Woods reminds me a bit of the Swedish Chef from the Muppets when he speaks!

Take this as an internet rumor, but I know a guy pretty high up at Hyundai. He says it is very well known Tiger was zonked on prescription drugs and almost certain that he had fallen asleep at the wheel.

It is my experience that seldom does someone get a ticket in an accident in which no one else was involved. Egregious DWHUA, does sometimes warrant one even without others involved, but not always.

I would however, really like to see the report from the tox screen that surely must have been administered. If under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, that is a different story.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Does prove the Genesis he was driving was well built. It saved his life.
