I think the most interesting part of the video is before he ascends the stairs. Watch him strolling. There's not a normal gait there. It's like he's trying to find his footing or something while he walks. Watch the first 10 seconds two or three times. He just seems to be having a bit of an issue walking. I don't know. I'm no medical doctor. Of course I could be wrong. But the way he's walking before he gets to the plane looks odd to me.

It also seems odd that no one at the foot of the steps went flying up the stairs to assist him after the first stumble. Maybe folks were walking away or had their backs to the plane. I dunno.

And in Biden's defense, those steps look awful narrow to me. It's like the stairs are only 6" deep or something. It sure looks (to me anyway) like his heel is hanging over the edge as he climbs up. Of course maybe the camera angle is deceptive.

You CAN’T bound up the stairs of Air Force One!! The many narrow stairs are perfect for slipping and tripping. I still remember boarding commercial jets back in the seventies. Always tried to be careful because they are obviously an accident waiting to happen.

All stair cases are hazards - especially for those who refuse to take the railing. As more than once President Obama did. Making it - but just by the skin of his teeth. Sheesh! No reason to chance it, O.

You got me thinking. Are there any reason not to use the terminal instead of the portable stairs? Not just with Biden but through the years.

Maybe a Secret Service security concern? Or want the farewell photo op? Maybe the height of Air Force One don't align right.

Seem if it was raining or snowing, why not?
