I think the answer is no, but we'll see. I think he is going to do something in the media and try to play the role of king/queen maker.

Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

The GOP will draft him in the 2024 Convention.

I figured if didn't win he would endlessly torment the Democrats.

They gave him free platform with the impeachment. Dumb move.

Dems are generally not very smart or strategic. The right is keeping notes on the BS they are pulling.

Precedent setting on judicial nominees, eliminating the filibuster: how did that work out?

Impeachment on demand: stay tuned.

If they force Trump into exile like they do in Third World Countries, since he'd have nothing more to lose, he might REALLY start colluding with other countries to regain power. So be careful what you wish for. Desperate people do desperate things.

Trump has done so much damage to the Republican Party and it’s so badly fragmented they’ll be lucky to take anything back this decade.

House is razor thin. Senate is more than razor thin, and it looks like Warnock may have done some questionable shit. This isn't even as big of an advantage as the right had 20 or 4 years ago.

This is more like 2002. That was one deadlocked situation. What about the house at that time though? I know the senate was 50-50 and Bush was president and they had the trifecta.

As for him running in 2024... I think he will.

You're thinking like a sane person. Unfortunately, when has politics ever been sane?

While a chunk of the 74 million that voted Trump will be walking away from him, most will still be more than happy to vote for someone/anyone that is not a Democrat.

Most will not blame Trump or the Republicans for his loss or the 2nd impeachment ... this bump in the road is because of what the Democrats "did to him" and the revenge will be to vote against them.

And the harder Democrats keep chasing the Trump ambulance, the more ammo they give to voters that think this way.

My fear is that this is closer to the reality. The Democrats have to do a better job with blue collar folks.

I'm blue collar folks. I don't live in your country but I can never imagine myself voting for a Donald Trump.

Yet, I could never imagine you voting for Biden.

As far as Trump, he will run in 2024 and probably win because Republicans are rallying these state assemblies to make it even more difficult for minorities to vote.
