Re: And it's Kamala
Why when I hear horizontal Harris do I think of FM antennas?
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!
Re: And it's Kamala
As if that's somehow a measure of the pinnacle of success?? Doubt it. There are few Margaret Thatchers in the world and we'd be lucky if one worked her way though the political process when she'd probably make 10x as much in the private sector.zzand wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 9:59 amI think it is going to be an interesting election cycle. IMHO Tulsi Gabbard would have been the best choice for VP, but that is simply one person's opinion. I have read quite a bit on the choice since it was made public and the reactions are all over the board. She will help, she won't help, too much baggage, no baggage, in other words, not a lot of fact, just opinion and bluster, a lot like what I have in this thread. One thing that I have thought for a long damn time, is this country is behind the times when it comes to a female leader. Israel, England, India have all had very successful women leaders. While I was not a fan I thought we had finally opened our eyes when President Obama won two terms, but nope, back to the old white guy mold... If Condi Rice was running for President I would be at every rally, have yard signs and donate. Maybe some day we will get it right, but this year we have two turd piles to choose from and we the people lose no matter what pile wins..."the opinion of one tired voter"
I have no issues with having a female leader, but it should be based on her as an effective leader capable of the job, NOT just because "we need a female". The last guy proved what a mistake it was just to make the decision based on achieving the "first as a" threshold.

We've had two female leaders in Michigan, and they've both been awful.km1125 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 1:22 pmAs if that's somehow a measure of the pinnacle of success?? Doubt it. Matt, I will grant you that the two in Michigan were not exactly cream of the crop but that doesn't mean there isn't a great one out there and I don't think I said the only criteria is they are a woman, and if it came across that way I am sorry, I was just saying it is time we try to do what other countries have done and ignore their sex when it comes to voting for President. Sadly we have yet to have a good choice step up to the plate.
Re: And it's Kamala
Condi Rice. She's too smart to want it though.zzand wrote: ↑Thu Aug 13, 2020 2:12 pmMatt, I will grant you that the two in Michigan were not exactly cream of the crop but that doesn't mean there isn't a great one out there and I don't think I said the only criteria is they are a woman, and if it came across that way I am sorry, I was just saying it is time we try to do what other countries have done and ignore their sex when it comes to voting for President. I agree, she would be great, and I agree she is too smart to want it

Well thank God we elected Snyder.
Very thoughtful post Zzand

Re: And it's Kamala
I went looking for porn shots of Harris, but all I could find were plenty of porn pics of the first lady of The United States of America - Melania Trump!
Deranged Donald Trump’s third and current wife!
Correct me if I’m wrong - but hasn’t the so-called president recently on more than one occasion - wished his longtime close friend pictured at parties with he and Melania - Ghislaine Maxwell - his best well wishes - as she squirms in solitary awaiting trial for allegedly sexually trafficking teenagers?
You dim wit dumb ass members of Trump’s Cult are quick to slam Harris as a “slut”, et al - yet over more than four years remain silent about The Trump’s serial, shameless, sexploits.
