part of this is for political gain, it may well backfire by serving to piss off gun owners nationwide.

On an election year no less. If there was the slightest bit of apathy on the part of gun owners, it is all gone now.

The National Firearms Act of 1934 took care of that for you. Once Trump gets reelected and fills Ginsburg's SC seat, we can work on getting that repealed.

Yup, especially with the moves to defund and disband the police in some major cities.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
