Let the fleeing begin

Post by bmw » Sat May 09, 2020 5:10 pm

Here is the highest-profile defection I've seen yet.

Image

There you have it - a $100 billion company up and fleeing California over the lockdown. 10,000 jobs possibly gone, just like that. $25 billion tax-revenue base gone and moved to another state.

Many of these examples to come. This is what's gonna happen to Michigan real soon if Whitmer doesn't get her act together.

Buh bye, Lonnie.

California doesn’t need you, boy.

Pay attention to the big F in Fremont. Now add a U and memorize.

The Golden State says “My Pleasure!”

Don’t confuse California with Michigan. Night and day, Buddy.

No contest.

Musk seems quite eccentric but he brings jobs so, I wouldn't do anything to give him an excuse to leave Alemeda Co.

I'm sure the regulation and tax climate in CA is just horrible too.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

Let's see what his board has to say.

California is the 5th economy in the world. Tesla to Cali's economy is Parking Tickets to my economy.

You want people dead so much you keep wishing for it.

Yep.

I want people dead.

You're on to me.

/SARCASM (btw - you want indefinite lockdown to cripple the economy such that Trump will lose and big-government socialism will reign).

I suppose you may have a point when the state's budget deficit is so big that even ABC News callis "staggering."

We could be like South Dakota right now. Didn't you idolize there policies? How's it going for them?

Let's just see how Americans react to some of the b******* going on in Washington DC. I got to tell you they're not too worried about people dying

You're a misogynist by your own definition.

I am no fan of Musk but I hope he does leave California. States that are overstepping need to be shown that businesses will go where they can open and do business....and to save you the time, yes I know the numbers will go up, but they are going to go up if states open now or in June. Might as well get it started and then the curve can truly come down. Thank goodness I live where the state leaders are taking safe, proper steps to get things back to what ever normal will be. If I still lived in Michigan my ass would have moved a long time ago. I have a friend who lives in California, basically Hollywood, and his complex went from full to almost empty in three weeks. Seems people are running as fast as moving vans can carry them.

So you're reposting from a Republican propaganda site? I'm sure California is shaking in the boots.

For every 3 people who leave 5 arrive.

if that's the case let's refuse funding to all 14 states that aren't following Federal recommendations on safely reopening.
