Really? Explain this official White House release... Kind of makes you full of shit.
“Under the direction of President Trump, the United States Government is responding rapidly. The U.S. was among the first nations to offer help to the Chinese people, and we are the largest financial backers of the World Health Organization and UNICEF. In early February, the United States delivered more than 17 tons of medical supplies to China donated by the American people. These supplies included masks, gowns, gauze, respirators, and other vital materials.”
If you look at the date this was released, (February 15th) which you conveniently leave out, you see the misleading part. At that point, China was where Covid 19 was running rampant.
When did we discover Covid-19 could be an issue inside our border?
On February 26, a case in a person with "no known exposure to the virus through travel or close contact with a known infected individual" was confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).[11]
So, those supplies, which were donated by "The American People" not the Federal Government, again, repeat, "THE AMERICAN PEOPLE", were sent as a humanitarian effort.
The ad is misleading pure and simple.
Trump can't win with you TDS people, if he bans travel from China, he's accused of having, as Dementia Joe said, "a record of hysteria, xenophobia and fear-mongering." If the State Department arranges delivery of humanitarian medical supplies, he has "blood on his hands."
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.
