His yard, his property and in central time zone (CDT) it can be fairly light at that hour. No case for telling someone what to do if it was just a lawnmower with a muffler.

Can't say as I agree with his politics, but he seems a likable person. I respect him because he stands up for his beliefs, even when they're unpopular.

Unfortunatly, that was not the issue, according to most press reports. It was pettier than that - the guy who paid good money for professional landscaping and the next door neighbor (Paul) who's DIY approach left both lawns ragged looking.
