I will say, there's seldom been an occasion that with the slightest amount of historical sleuthing Trump* manages to ridicule whatever he himself is currently engaged in. It's a gift that keeps on giving.

He is scared of what a pandemic might do to his re-election chances especially in relation to the economy. Pence was about the only strong choice he had.

If the democrat nominee is a man he’ll likely choose an ethnic minority female as VP for the dem ticket.

In that case Trump will dump Pence as VP on the republican reelection ticket and stick Nikki Haley there. Her mom is Indian (as re India)
