Religious zealot, Simon Barr Sinister - Trump’s ass licker in chief at the US Department of Justice - has begun to decimate the place.

And nobody can seem to do a thing about it!

The latest? Four prosecutors have - in one day - QUIT in protest - the Roger Stone case, and/or the DOJ - due to Trump’s interference via Attorney General Barr - on behalf of Trump’s diabolical, disordered friend, Mr. Stone.

Since Putin WILL interfere in the presidential election again - I don’t see Bloomberg or anyone opposing Trump conventionally able to win.

When democratic governmental norms are being destroyed - so that our country quickly slides into totalitarianism - how will Trump be removed from office? The 25th amendment?

Does anyone on this board appreciate how quickly Trump could - by escalating his disregard for Constitutional norms, limits, and parameters - turn our nation from a democratic republic into a dime-a-dozen brutal dictatorship?

We’d still have congress - but in name only. Because all the people’s representatives could do is - strictly - what Trump dictates. Every elected congressman or congresswoman would be afraid of Trump’s retaliation against them - if they did not vote the way he wanted them to vote. As they are watching his post-impeachment retaliations now. The most current example.

The free press would be restrained, muzzled, obliterated - and we’d have only one propaganda outlet for “news” controlled by the President.

And the courts, DOJ, all officers of the courts - would be further under his iron fist - ruling the way he dictates!!!

He is already doing all these things! It’s happening in plain sight!

After WWII - post war generations have ASSUMED our government structure (its co-equal 3 branches, their constitutionally-mandated checks and balances, our justice system, our elections, our presidency, our legislative bodies, our military system of justice, etc.) could NEVER vanish, and be replaced with a dictatorship.

But world history shows us that governments and great civilizations collapse with historic regularity. All it takes for a charismatic, strong man to take over - is - the governed asleep at the switch. Not understanding how fragile their freedoms are - and missing their EARLY opportunity to STOP the “wanna be non-benevolent king” - by resisting him, and the lawless changes he is making before their eyes.

Trump, his advisers, his yes men, his enablers - and the paralyzed-with-fear supposedly co-equals in the other two branches of government - (legislative and judicial branches) are all allowing Trump to destroy our representative democracy - as currently enshrined in the US Constitution!

Wake Up! Do your sworn duty! Defend America!
Except for a patriotic few - they are NOT!

And with election interference by Putin again (republicans have this week stopped bills to guard against foreign election interference) it will be impossible for the majority of voters to replace Trump. Putin is seeing to that - with four years since our last election to improve and strengthen his election influencing techniques.

God help our great nation. Our comparatively young country. Our grand experiment in democratic values. The envy of the un-free world. And the home of people from all over the planet - who appreciated how fleeting liberty is - and died fighting - to protect our freedoms - here - in The Land of Liberty.

I don't know alot/much about those four that resigned, but maybe they did because they realized they could no longer operate with impunity and convict folks with bogus charges using all the might and power of the federal government to force a conviction or plea from their subjects. These BS charges about "lying to Congress" when Congressional members lie to their constituents ALL THE TIME and don't ever get charged with crimes.

Putin interfered under the last guys watch because they didn't think there was much of an issue. Remember the "the 80's want their foreign policy back" quote??

But if there was no crime proven of Russian collusion, there was no crime to begin with. Look what Democrats have gotten away with with no punishment. They should have searched all potential jurors for bias.
