Is it still a loser debate if none of the losers show up?
Is it still a loser debate if none of the losers show up?
Asking for a friend...
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

The last debate I only heard about it after it had already happened. There was no buzz about it.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

If a tree falls in a forest and no one hears it, did it really fall?
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Gordon’s highly promoted, marathon, Day of Deathblows - to Donald.
Nobody had any energy left to then watch hours of MORE politics in a debate.
Too bad - because the following day the debate highlights looked good.

The Democrats will get more publicity from cancelling debate then actually having one.

This whole stunt is ridiculous pandering.

It's interesting that the entirety of the democratic field is willing to announce they are owned and operated by union trash. A bit of an odd hill to die on...

I do believe most of the Den candidates are way too progressive to actually be elected but it would be political suicide for any of them to cross a picket line. While some people might actually be “union trash” overall the visual of the that would not be a positive.

This. Their own social media social justice warrior mob that they created would eat them alive twice over.Radio Sucks wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 2:56 pmit would be political suicide for any of them to cross a picket line.

Speaking of eating, if there is not free food, a Democrat will not show up.bmw wrote: ↑Sat Dec 14, 2019 4:05 pmThis. I agree, especially during primary season.it would be political suicide for any of them to cross a picket line.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.
Re: Is it still a loser debate if none of the losers show up?
This is one of those “can’t win” scenarios. Labor folks would figuratively disembowel a candidate who crossed a picket line. Those who feel negatively about unions spew the sort of rhetoric you can read in this thread.
It’s true, we currently have a President who eschews the optics of much of what he does. He doesn’t seem to care about “the way things are done” and up to know, it hasn’t hurt him (may have helped him in some cases.). Maybe the rules need to change.
