I don't like the political climate. I am tired of seeing all the fighting and bickering on the news. I don't like any of the presidential candidates...complete trash. I'm not too fond of what we have now. There have been positives of a Trump presidency but dammit he's just not presidential timber. That said, what is a voter to do? I don't like the idea of voting for the lesser of two evils. Nobody should have to sacrifice their principals to vote for a candidate you don't like.

Yes, this! Vote for everything but the presidential election. Would be a good referendum against the crappy choices we have. Why settle?

I have been marking the write in box and then writing in "none of the above"
At least someone actually reads the write in. It won't "count" but maybe it will strike a cord with one ballot counter.
Then if hundreds did it then thousands it might make the nightly news. Then thousands might turn in to hundreds of thousands.
They way to effect change isn't voting the lesser of two evils status quo rather its one "none of the above" at a time.

You don't have to vote for a Democrat or Republican, you know. You could vote for a third party candidate. I have for many elections. Study up on the Libertarians. See what the Peace & Freedom party is all about. And for people who say it's "wasting your vote', that's bullshit. I live in California so with the electoral college, my vote for President really doesn't mean anything since we know who is winning the state. At least cast your ballot for somebody you can believe in.

I DID NOT for Trump or Clinton. Clinton proved to be liar and she's just a mean person. Trump, is just a terrible person and it has nothing to do with ideology. I wrote John Kasich in. I have to admit, I un-registered myself to vote earlier this year. You can do this Ohio, thing is you can't change your party registration unless you vote in a primary.

I do plan to re-register but I don't want to declare a party. The top Dem Candidates are awful but 4 more years of Trump worries me. I do like Michael Bennett, IMO we need another Bill Clinton in terms of policy(but a different type of person).

Where I work, A few of my co-workers in there late 40s/early 50s have never voted ever, which is a bit weird to me.

Mark Sanford, I could probably vote for. I'm familiar with him(minus the affair) as I do have ties to SC(but have never been a bonafide resident), He was an ok Governor. On The Dem I side, Amy Klobochar and Michael Bennett, don't bug me too much.

Trump has been very restrained with the use of military, there are pluses an minuses for everyone.

I voted Ted Cruz in primary and didn't vote D or R in presidential election.

Trump has at least paused the forward march of socialism for 4 years. Right now in the Democrat party I see a bunch of tyrants bent on using the power of government to control every aspect of your life. Trump, for all his faults, has largely stopped them in their tracks, at least for now.

Basically what you learn from the Trump presidency is anyone that done anything except being a politician is unfit for office according to liberals.

The rode him on tax returns, and his businesses.

Meanwhile Biden is pulling major strings for his son, and that is ok.

Some food for thought... Watergate was about a two-bit larceny that went bad. Iran-Contra investigation was on arms sales to foreign countries. A few years after all the dust had settled I listened to a Fed. Judge explain that the Iran-Contra was more important that Watergate. The reason being is that there was a second government being run out of the White House dealing in areas that the Constitution expressly forbids the President from doing that type of thing.
As time passes we tend to forget about things that got us to this point in time. It's like some just never learn what failed and try it again.
