Sick of all the Climate Change Bullshit

Everywhere, climate change this, climate change that...ugh! I saw on the news in Canada a bunch of young kids who aren't even old enough to vote are suing the Federal Government over climate change. This is lunacy. What these kids don't understand is that the government will have more control over your lives and you get taxed more if they make radical changes in policy. And that Greta chick needs to go home and stop spreading propaganda. The planet has always done fine without our intervention and always will. The fear mongering needs to stop.

Thanks to climate change your insurance rates are going to go up, you are going to be required to do things you don't want to do, and your Winters are going to be much different.

You will see people making climate change decisions when it affects big business. Insurance companies, any company located in a coastal city such as New York, Los Angeles or Miami and any business that relies on shipping. Since they own most of Congress they will force climate change policy.

In case you haven't noticed not many people care about your opinion when it comes to reality or economics.

Anything else you would like to whine about today?

I work in retail and it is amazing how OCD people are about plastic bags. It's oh no, I can't have those! I'm thinking, just recycle them or throw them out. These people always try to act high and mighty. Me personally I prefer plastic bags. My logic is it'll save a tree. And generally paper bags don't have handles and are not very durable when it's pouring rain.

Bottom line we can't fix shit about the climate. And we cannot slow or prevent it. It is what it is. So why even attempt to waste money, time, and resources to a lost cause? I am just so fed up with today's society.

Funny - among all the climate change deniers or “what’s the use let’s surrender to climate change” folks, , or the “it’s all BS” crowd - one conservative group believes the majority of scientists world-wide. And that group has been preparing for years - as if climate change is indeed happening. That group is the US military.

All their future plans for any manuvers that could come up include changes brought about by melting ice, rising seas, uninhabitable flooded coastlines, sunken islands, etc. etc. etc. Plus the mass movements of humanity - as great numbers of persons become climate change refugees.

Regular Santa Anna Winds that have increasingly become hurricane force - combined with the years-long greed of PG&E, and a severe lack of rain are certainly causing Californians to consider moving. Those who survive.

Climate is something that is part of our planets evolution.... it's constantly changing and sometimes it changes rapidly and sometimes it takes it's sweet time. To think we can control weather patterns is ludicrous!

I would counter and say our climate would be changing if we didn't exist. And it will continue to change after we are all long gone.

Polar ice caps melting. Disappearing. Seas rising. Water temps shifting. Weather events more intense. More deadly. Plants. Animals. Humans. All life on earth feeling the effects.

You stupid observers. Too arrogant or greedy or dense to believe scientific evidence of human-caused global warming. What a selfish, short-sighted pity. A test of our environmental stewardship. A test of our character. A test of our collective smarts.

I think it's much more simple than that. These people are just fucking cretins. You can't argue with them because facts don't matter to these idiots. "I know better than thousands of scientists....it's snowing in October, climate change is a hoax!"

You can tell people are scraping when they have to use convoluted logic to prove their point. It always amazes me that some people are so self-absorbed they insist they know more about a subject than thousands of experts who have spent their lives researching.

Go ahead and take the final word, troll. I won't be responding to you anymore.

No... Insurance rates are data based. Climate change? The phrase leads one to believe climate was once static.
