They may be number one but if you read the numbers carefully you will see that in almost every time period more people are NOT watching Fox News than watching it.

Fox News Ratings
Re: Fox News Ratings
LOL - that's your take-away from those numbers? That the ratings of CNN+MSNBC combined are slightly higher than Fox News by itself?
That's like looking at the AFC East standings last year in the NFL and taking from it that "if you look carefully at the standings, you'll see that the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills have more combined wins than the Patriots."

Re: Fox News Ratings
Of course the better argument is that around 97% of the country watches none of it...bmw wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2019 9:45 amLOL - that's your take-away from those numbers? That the ratings of CNN+MSNBC combined are slightly higher than Fox News by itself?

Re: Fox News Ratings
You cannot tell that from the numbers since the numbers only reflect one night of programming. There is not 100 percent overlap from night to night. I would guess that the 97% number is considerably lower if you take into account casual viewers who might check out one particular cable news show once or twice a week.
On a side note, CNN continues to be a laughing stock.
Re: Fox News Ratings
A small percentage of Americans actually watch Fox News. TV is not a winner takes all game. The world is not a binary choice. There is a spectrum of political opinions. The link below wrote:For the week of 4/8 thru 4/14 ABC’s “World News Tonight” topped the evening newscasts with an average of 7.9 million viewers. NBC’s “Nightly News” was second with 7.5 million and the “CBS Evening News” had 5.5 million viewers.Fox News Channel averages 2.38 million viewers in prime time.
