John Dingell 1926-2019 R.I.P.
John Dingell 1926-2019 R.I.P.
John Dingell was a True American, It doesn’t matter what political party you belong to this man was a Genuine Statesman , And to serve 60 years in office John Dingell is by far A Great Man and a Great American R.I.P. John, America Loves You.
Re: John Dingell 1926-2019 R.I.P.
At the beginning of every Congressional term, John Dingell introduced a bill that would have created a National Health Care system. He supported policies that reduced greenhouse gas emissions and made cars be more fuel efficient, he wanted to tax carbon emissions and was said to vote "pro-environment" every time. Sounds a lot like things that a certain freshman congressperson believes in as well.
Do try to be consistent, eh?Oldies 84, the hypocrite, talking about A. Ocasio-Cortez wrote:She needs to go Bye Bye, ASAP

There’s a world of difference between these two people my friend, And go ahead and call me a hypocrite, I honestly could give two shits about that. Have a Great Day!

Always happy to see someone embracing their shortcomings. I would suggest that to strengthen your arguments, you move toward some consistency. And feel free to demonstrate the "world of difference" between these two with examples and documentation. You have a great day as well.

I don't have much to say on him but kudos for serving his country. On a side note, I'm not sure it's good to have a politician in office for so long. I believe this is why very little change comes about in Washington...status quo. If there were term limits it would bring new and fresh ideas and not more of the same.

In reference to Mr. Radio Sucks half your screen name does indeed fit. You Suck! Perhaps you should consider a name change have you ever thought about it. Maybe on one of your better days, Just think about it.
Re: John Dingell 1926-2019 R.I.P.
Actually the opposite has been shown to be true... the high turnover results in a brain drain, more extreme members and ultimately more gridlock...TheForce wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 11:14 amI don't have much to say on him but kudos for serving his country. "You Suck" "crab-ass"
That's the best part of this board, the intelligent discussion of the issues.
By the way, capitalizing "WORLD" certainly goes a long way to proving your point.
And I still ask this question of anyone who posts here - how come when Dingell proposes revolutionary ideas like national health care and curbing carbon emissions he's a statesman, but when AOC does it she's an air headed millennial? Perhaps Misogyny Radio and TV Buzzboard is a more descriptive name for this board.
Have a great weekend, gentlemen.

Radio Sucks, Go back in your hole and don’t let the dirt fall on you and bury your ass.

That's a perfectly reasonable, perceptive question. And nobody here is going to answer it.Radio Sucks wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 7:08 amAnd I still ask this question of anyone who posts here - how come when Dingell proposes revolutionary ideas like national health care and curbing carbon emissions he's a statesman, but when AOC does it she's an air headed millennial? Mostly from doing dumb stuff, like trying to have an intelligent conversation on the Internet. I'm sure you are a fine fellow - we may be alike in many ways, but you have views and opinions very different than mine. Why so aggressively negative? Do you feel I have slighted you in some way? If you feel I have, I apologize for not being clear.Midlife crisis alert.
First time caller, long time listener, btw. Let me be clear in the following two questions -
A) Is climate change something that the US Congress should be legislating to curb?
B) Is a National Health Care system something the US Government should create?
I'll hang up and listen to your answer on the air.
