Cottage cheese should be a calming ingredient in a balanced diet.. maybe some deep breathing will improve your attitude?

If I might change the topic for a moment....
when my lovely wife makes rice these days she cooks it in chicken broth instead of water......It really adds some pizazz to an otherwise rather bland side dish.

I no longer directly engage trolls

Your wife is a smart cookie!

I do that as well as toss in a can of sliced mushrooms and a bit of grated parmigiano reggiano when finished.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Why would anyone worship thugs with badges

With the snow moving in this weekend, time to break out the crock pot and make beef stew

Don't forget the bay leaves....

Oh, substituting parsnips instead of carrots, or a mixture of both, is a favorite of mime.

I might even take a pot down to the local gendarme stations Saturday night as I'm sure they'll be putting in some long hours.

Forgive me asking, but I've heard bay leaves can kill you if you forget and leave them in. Any truth to that?

Not true. Just an urban legend.
However, they can cause potentially serious digestive tract issues. It's rare but can happen

Oh, and they can pose a choking hazard as well.

So those issues are likely behind the myth

Parsnips are disgusting. Three things that should never be fed to humans are parsnips, squash and sweet potatoes.

Well, OK. Maybe it would be alright to feed them to cops.
