Perhaps... if not than this is probably a replay of the Reagan arrangement of the president as mouthpiece and the VP doing the mundane day to day work... W tried that and it ultimately cost him so we shall see...

Like almost all of the Presidents of at least recent History, most of the work is done by advisors. That's why they are able to golf and take vacations so much.

If Trump can go on a seven second delay with board operators that are awake, somehow avoid putting his foot in his mouth too much, and listen to his advisors, he will not be impeached. Other Presidents say and do outrageous things and are backed by the media. Most of all, a Republican President can't be a Micromanager like the current occupant.

Remember that until HDRC was removed from the Watergate case, she took careful notes. One of the biggest lessons she learned was that a President should never again resign, because they can't be convicted by two thirds of the Senate. She applied that knowledge in the 1998-2000 era of WJC.
