The scientists had a plan, but Trump was not listening to them. Too busy golfing.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.

Of course the CDC had other challenges in a global pandemic. But having the leader of the Free World continue to put monkey wrenches in the way and shame you on the public stage and tell the citizens to ignore your recommendations and not demonstrate safe behavior certainly amounted to a lot of death and misery.

“Yes, they were interfered with politically,” said Lawrence Gostin, director of the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University, referring to alleged meddling by the Trump administration. “But that’s not the only reason CDC didn’t perform optimally during COVID-19. There are a lot of things that went wrong.”

This CNN story was a load of shit. It has been soundly debunked, yet the Trump haters ran with it with glee.

Think about this for a minute. Uncle Joe touts a plan to administer 100 million doses of vaccine in 100 days. Ohh my goodness, that's a great plan. 1 million per day. He's our savior.

On the day he took office, the weekly average of doses given was 912,000 per day.

:rolleyes
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I believe that much of that was overstated. There was a lot of b******* flying around HHS.

President Joe Biden said “There’s nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months”

Justin Amash was even saying on twitter, WTH Biden?

And who was president at the start of that day and week? This speaks to Trumps internal failures... I would be careful running around with this one.

How can you fault Biden for 912,000 vaccines distributed on the day he took office when he did so in the middle of the day? How can you even fault him for anything that week related to this? It’s not like they can snap their fingers and get vaccines out at a faster rate... if over time it starts going up he will have held up his end once it gets to a million. If not then he will be due criticism.

I think I read somewhere (I'm too lazy to google) that lately we have been above 1M/day, so Biden is hoping to stay the course, much like he has on foreign policy.

Boy, you need more sleep or something. I wasn't faulting Biden for 912,000 vaccinations per day, that was taking place on Trump's watch. I was merely pointing out that although CNN said there was no "plan in place" and that Biden touted that he was going to do 100 million vaccinations in 100 days, we, under Trump's "lack of plan," were already doing very close to that number.

Sheesh... Pay attention would ya?

Are you saying that 7 hours sleep after being up for 32.5 hours isn’t enough? My bi-polarish (it’s not exactly that) issue appears to have flared up so I was up from 6pm Friday to 2am this morning. Normally (and this has always been true) I can barely make 22 hours straight. I must say it kind of sucked. Apparently there’s a steep downside on the other end of that.
