96% reported and now Bernie is within a tenth of a percentage point. Looks like he just may eek out the victory.
More fuel to the conspiracy fire.
Why would that be fuel to the conspiracy fire? Buttigieg and Bernie both ran strong campaigns in Iowa... these results aren’t that shocking...
Maybe you are implying his followers think he should win by 20 instead of barely? But that’s not realistic and if there was a conspiracy it would be to get Bernie through with a win. Of course with those numbers they’ll get the same number of delegates essentially.

Not because he won (if he in fact did), but because the results were delayed and reported in such a way as to rob him of now 2 days and counting of the Iowa bump.
Again, to be clear, I'm not in the conspiracy camp. But this looks suspicious to many.

He’s about to more than likely crush it in New Hampshire (being from Vermont is a big help) so this is pretty overblown... Iowa doesn’t have a great track record picking winners either. I’d rather have the mayor than sanders anyways.

Looks like it is more than just glitches in the app. Per the New York Times, the entire process is riddled with incompetence.
...more than 100 precincts reported results that were internally inconsistent, that were missing data or that were not possible under the complex rules of the Iowa caucuses.
In some cases, vote tallies do not add up. In others, precincts are shown allotting the wrong number of delegates to certain candidates. And in at least a few cases, the Iowa Democratic Party’s reported results do not match those reported by the precincts.
***
The errors suggest that many Iowa caucus leaders struggled to follow the rules of their party’s caucuses, or to adopt the additional reporting requirements introduced since 2016.
***
No new voters are permitted to join the caucus after the first alignment. But in at least 70 precincts, more than 4 percent of the total, there are more tabulated total votes on final alignment than on first alignment.
***
Notably, there are dozens of precincts where there is a discrepancy between the final preference vote and the number of state delegate equivalents allotted. This includes more than 15 cases in which a candidate received fewer state delegate equivalents than another despite receiving more votes in the final alignment.

Reportedly, a lot of people who were running the Caucus sites had no prior experience in doing so!
What a complete disaster!!!
Iowa should just move to a primary election. This Caucusing stuff is stupid and is a large reason Iowa has a mixed track record at picking winners.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

There's a lot of parallels between this and the Detroit Lions organization.

I can’t wait to compare the Iowa debacle to the Nevada caucuses in 3 weeks...

The Michigan UIA "Midas" computer system debacle also comes to mind.
