Feds to ban funny state-owned road signs
Re: Feds to ban funny state-owned road signs
Tennessee, in construction zones, posts signs reminding drivers to be alert.
The signs read "Bee Alert" and have a cartoonish picture of a bee.
The first time she saw it, my wife thought it was a serious warning about a possible attack by swarms of bees. She told me to be sure all the car windows were rolled up.

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

If I were making signs, I'd keep it simple and to the point:
-Don't drive like a DUMBASS-
-Don't drive like a DUMBASS-
Re: Feds to ban funny state-owned road signs
You could make it even simpler: "Don't drive like a Trump supporter."
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

At least they're smart enough to stay to the right.
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

From the linked article....
I don't have a problem with the ruling at all.Administration officials said overhead electronic signs with obscure meanings, references to pop culture, or those intended to be funny will be banned in 2026 because they can be misunderstood or distracting to drivers.
The agency, which is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation, said signs should be "simple, direct, brief, legible, and clear" and only be used for important information such as warning drivers of crashes ahead, adverse weather conditions, and traffic delays. Seatbelt reminders and warnings about the dangers of speeding or driving impaired are also allowed.
I no longer directly engage trolls

Dropping knowledge on forum MAGAts.
Unapologetically intellectually superior.

Trump voters are stupid? Great! Then I guess you would be all in favor of requiring voters to pass a rudimentary civics exam prior to casting their ballot?teetoppz28 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 10:17 am

An IQ test would make more sense

Potential voter: "HELL YES!"
Poll worker: "You're free to leave. Feel free to take your 'I tried to vote' sticker."

Absolutely... his vote total would easily decrease.Bryce wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 10:29 amTrump voters are stupid? Great! Then I guess you would be all in favor of requiring voters to pass a rudimentary civics exam prior to casting their ballot?teetoppz28 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 16, 2024 10:17 am

So grown adults that leave the house without any identification would be disqualified?
Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. There's no going back, and we can only go forward before we run out of runway.

At least Trump knows the correct answer to "Can a man become a woman?" Over 1,100 pages in this piece of useless legislation. Just goes to show you what a bunch of humorless, unsmiling, negative nancies we have in charge.

I just watched a story on this.
Seems the states would have more leeway than the Newsmax article implies.
