Look at the Common Cold, which is caused by a type of coronavirus. Look at influenza. Look at AIDS. No vaccine for the common cold. Constantly having to vaccinate every year for influenza, because of all the strains. Then its not that effective, because there are so many strains. No vaccine for AIDS.
Unless there is something revolutionary happening in immunology, there probably won't be an effective vaccine for the 18 months quoted, and probably not even then. There is probably more of a chance that the virus mutates to a less dangerous form, or burns itself out in hot weather.
Eventually, they will end up admitting that if used early, Hydroxychloroquine actually is very effective. Everyone who blesses the rains down in Africa, camps on the Serengeti while lions loudly procreate, and gazes at Kilimanjaro already must take HCQ before they can go.
