A large majority of the claims have been about things that happened decades ago and some of the priests in question are dead or very old now. New claims about something that happened last week are less common.
Wouldn't you think this should have stopped in 2012? And wouldn't more recent cases not require an inquiry by the AG because the Church would have called the police? I question if true protections are now in place?
We had a Quaker church with a pedophile, and he was in cuffs as soon as a complaint was filed.
