I watched last night's debate in its entirety. I thought DeSantis performed best followed by Christie. Haley's performance wasn't bad but was overshadowed by the aforementioned gentlemen.

Ramaswamy raised some good points at times (in relation to health care, fighting drug abuse, and crony capitalism) which unfortunately were overshadowed by his obnoxiousness and conspiracy mongering.

I think DeSantis might see a favorable bump in the polls, and it wouldn't surprise me if Haley moves down a peg.

Megyn Kelly's prolonged commentary about candidate's shortcomings leading into her opening question made her look bad. Came across as self-serving.
I found DeSantis mispronouncing PUBulous as PUBEulous to be rather ironic.

This was a pretty good debate.

Haley said nothing when Ramaswamy held up a sign that said she was corrupt from being on corporate boards. The hosts even invited her to respond. That looked very weak for her. Also, she couldn't name three provinces in Ukraine that she was claimed we needed to protect. Her Tik-Tok/Social media positions seem to violate first amendment.

Christie claims he is straight shooter but the way he governed NJ was very ugly, making deals with Democrats and then secretly reneguing with vetoes. Plus there is this:

Desantis mostly stayed out of the crossfire, clearly the Newsom debate "practice" worked wonders for him. He was on target and drove his points home. I agree with MW's assessment.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

Good point about the Newsom debate a week earlier potentially working to DeSantis' benefit.

I agree that Haley should've seized the opportunity for a rebuttal. By the way, I looked up the names of Ukraine's provinces online. Zero chance of me being able to pronounce more than 1 or 2 of those names correctly!! Those spellings are trainwrecks!
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

She was well off not trying to butcher those province names and being roundly criticized for it. What a stupid question.

Ukraine doesn't even have provinces, they have oblasts. Also, Haley is who we should nominate if we want to win.
Voting for Trump is dumber than playing Russian Roulette with fully loaded chambers.

You are correct. I might even vote for her.

I think it’s running a shade over sample on Republicans. Biden is underwater in his approval rating but not 61-37.

That same poll has Haley +17 over Biden, something like 51-34 :eek

Yeah… that’s absurd. The poll is almost certainly an outlier…

A new CNN poll has Trump +10 over Biden in Michigan, 50-40.

Biden is a sinking ship. The million dollar question is, how many more polls like this will it take before the Super Delegates decide to throw Biden to the curb?

I've also seen speculation out there that Biden might pardon Hunter and announce he's not running for a second term, possibly all in the same announcement. Seems plausible.

The better question - when will Republicans throw the wannabe dictator to the curb?
