Cruz shut out in Michigan

Post by JackAttack FM » Mon Apr 11, 2016 11:16 pm

Cruz's cherry picking of delegates finally caught up with him in Michigan.

At this weekend's state Republican convention in Lansing none of Cruz's Michigan delegates got choosen for positions on any of the four committees for the national convention in Cleveland. Including the much talked about Rules and Credentials committees.

All of the eight seats went to Trump and Kasich delegates. Five to Trump and three to Kasich.

Cruz's guy in Michigan is crying sour grapes.

The headline is incorrect. He got his 17.

The only effect was on 'at-large' committee ones.

No, its correct.
His delegates got shut out of all committee seats.

And if the topic heading is wrong then so are the Wall Street Journal, NBC and The News.

That's not correct...
With Trump and Kasich’s people in cahoots, five of the eight committee seats went to Trump delegates, with Kasich’s delegates taking the remaining three seats.
Were ONLY talking about 8 delegates here, not the ones selected by district. Trump has 25, Cruz 17, Kasich 17 delegates...now Add Trump's 5, and Kasich's 3 to the various committees.

So Cruz winds up in 3rd.... That's a loss my friend... Especially for a guy who wanted those 8 delegates so he could tie Trump at 25....

No you still don't get it... Which isn't odd for a Cruz supporter.

At the state convention, out of all the 59 Michigan Republican delegates, 8 of those 59 are chosen to sit on four committees at the national convention.

None of Cruz's 17 Michigan delegates were choosen to sit on the committees. He got shut out.
Any one of the five links will say the same thing.

Which means Cruz loses votes on those committees he should have gotten.

Keep counting those delegates though and see how handy they'll be in November.

"The Cruz campaign tried a takeover and they failed miserably," Timmer said. "It backfired and they ended up with nothing. There's been all these reports about how they're out-organizing everybody. Not here."
“Blessed are those who are righteous in his name.”
