Is getting to the Super Bowl enough?

Of course the ultimate goal is winning it all, but for any true Lion fan, the fact that we would actually be playing in that game is virtually inconceivable. I'm old....68 in a couple weeks. My fondest memories are my dad taking my sister and me to the Hudson parade on Thanksgiving, and then to Tiger Stadium to watch the Lions....lose. This has been a dream season. We all had high expectations, and these guys have met/exceeded them. Of course,if we beat the fucking Niners Sunday it'll be 2 weeks of some stress, but I honestly think I'd be satisfied with simply seeing the in the SB.

With the NFL being a parity league, the Lions should theoretically be a contender every 4-6 years. This season, just getting there would be plenty. It's not making it back for another 30 years that's a problem. It was a great season and the fans needed it. Now keep it going. Give us a reason to believe and don't make this year a fluke.

I think the Lions will get to the Super Bowl. The Ravens will crush them there, but let's enjoy just getting there.

This season is a success no matter what in my eyes very happy with what the Lions did this year winning the division playing a home playoff game twice and winning and getting to the NFC Championship Game. I have been praying that the Lions win in the playoffs and I have been praying they get to the Super Bowl. Let's make it 3 teams that haven't made it a Super Bowl the Lions are the only NFC team not to make it to a Super Bowl hope that ends tomorrow. I believe that we can win.
