NFL WC weekend

Post by Honeyman » Sat Jan 13, 2024 1:48 pm

Bills game moved to Monday afternoon.

Winners: Houston, KC, Dallas, LA, Buffalo, TB.
Playing a ML parlay, 100 to win 2634. Hope the Lions bust it for me.

Houston, Miami, Green Bay, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay for me… when I don’t care about the game I always root for the underdogs. That said I would never bet money that way.

No bets or predictions for or from me, but Flacco just threw some pretty putrid pick-sixes.

Okay, I'll take Houston. :razz

Houston is completely embarrassing the Browns!

This is surprising to me. Cleveland won at Houston on Christmas Eve.
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

Houston played at home, and so do Detroit and Tampa Bay. Those aren't true underdogs.

You get 3 points at home in the line… they were still on the plus side (ie more likely to lose) of it even with the automatic home field advantage.

 Well, Detroit is not an underdog since they are -3, but TB and Houston certainly are.

Texans Over Browns was a toss up but I went with Houston thought it be a close game but it wasn't had it more in the background than anything else,
Chiefs Over Phfins I knew the cold wasn't going to be good for Miami,
Cowboys Over Packers,
Lions Over Rams in a close game and I hope the Lions end the 9 game losing streak and end 32 year drought,
Bills Over Steelers,
Bucs Over Eagles as the Eagles are limping into the playoffs.
Go Pistons, Let's Go Redwings.

If memory serves, Houston had been without Stroud for that one?

So I guess Lions fans should be Packers fans, because as long as the Lions and Packers keep winning, the Lions keep getting home games.

Works for me. I would rather face them than try to win in Dallas. or any other such fun house thing.

I agree. I'd rather face Green Bay at home than Dallas on the road, albeit not by a big margin.

ABSOLUTELY! Cowboys are a far better team in Dallas, not to mention the refs are in the bag, as we've seen.

I don't see how the Cowboys lose today, unless Love has a hall of fame game.

If Green Bay wins, Detroit would get the winner of the TB/Phi game next week. Green Bay would travel to SF next week.

If Green Bay were to beat SF and Detroit win again, the NFC championship game would be Detroit vs GB in Detroit.
