College Basketball 23-24
College Basketball 23-24
Nice to see a local B1G team take care of a mid-major in an emphatic fashion. I don't know what kind of season Michigan will have, but the early returns are good. This season is very intriguing in that we find if the last few years were indicative of Juwan's lack of coaching ability or if Hunter Dickinson was a significant drag on team morale. When does Michigan State's season start?

Hey, considering how bad MSU looked the other night, he has every right to criticize. But let's keep this thread alive all season and check back during Big Ten play.
But you gotta love Matt's consistency of criticizing Dickenson now as soon as he leaves the team (and scores 20+ for Kansas in his first game).

The suggestion is that he is not much of a team player. We'll see how the season unfolds.

Wasn't he the only starter still playing for that shitty team in the NIT last year? Even Juwans kid sat those games out.Matt wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2023 10:48 am*DickinsonHoneyman wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2023 10:36 amHey, considering how bad MSU looked the other night, he has every right to criticize. Point is, anybody leaves UM to try and better themselves, you trash. McNamara was the first um QB to beat OSU in a decade, he leaves because he wants play time, and you rip him. It's never really about the players who give their heart and soul for the team, it's about the piss yellow and blue and that phony "leaders and the best" mystique. It's why you still support the statue of a despicable man who let hundreds of Michigan athletes get raped.

I heard about the leaders and best and then I read up on the 90’s college basketball scandal at Michigan… yikes.Honeyman wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2023 11:08 amWasn't he the only starter still playing for that shitty team in the NIT last year? Michigan did the LBC a solid as it's most famous native son just announced he was making a major life decision by giving up pot, and I'm sure this win by this school none of us have ever heard of will take the local community's collective mind off the shock for a little while.Graham Wellington wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2023 5:44 amhttps://twitter.com/MarchMadnessMBB/sta ... gr%5EtweetMatt wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2023 8:49 amNice to see a local B1G team take care of a mid-major in an emphatic fashion. And now what they did is all legal under the NIL. So one could argue the Fab Five were in fact "leaders" or perhaps pioneers leading the way in to the future.
Try a different example like Dr. Robert Anderson and what BO did or didn't know.

One could argue the line at the bottom of your posts in red is meant ironically.craig11152 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 18, 2023 7:34 amAnd now what they did is all legal under the NIL. So one could argue the Fab Five were in fact "leaders" or perhaps pioneers leading the way in to the future.

There’s a man that would hold you up by saying “What’s in your Motherfuckin’ wallet?” While having a gun pointed at you and calmly smoking a cigarette.

I wasn't shitting on Hunter, but that's pretty amazing that a legend acknowledged him.
