I'm not denying that he may have left a mess to clean up. But this is ESPN reporting. Now that they are out of the Big Ten and are probably a bit butthurt, get ready for more of these reports designed to make the Big Ten look bad. Are the issues detailed here any different than working the bugs out of any large tv contract?

Coaches always complain about TV scheduling. That has been consistent for years and isn't exclusive to this contract. It's the ever-present disconnect between coaches wanting scheduling that works for their teams and school administrators who want schedules that make the most money.

ESPN needs Big10 more than Big10 needs ESPN, ESPN is SEC & ACC homer network and are biased just like NBC being homers for ND since that was the only football they had was ND.

They shouldn't even bother airing Michigan basketball games this year.

Not just several B10 games, but even an NFL Wild Card Game is exclusively on Peacock as part of a one-year deal. While I have Peacock, it's not great for every fan.
