It's good to see the new guy shaking things up. I much prefer that to the garbled generalities of A.J. Hinch:

“So we're going to look at our processes. We're going to look at our processes and see where we can get better and what we do well, what we do below average and try to address all of that.”

Quite impressive! If the new guy can accomplish what he did with the Rays.... :smokin

A difference would have to be hanging on to these guys. Tampa tends toward high turnover.

The new scouting director for the Tigers brings a lot of experience to his new position. Not only his baseball experience, but he also played Orrin Pike on Petticoat Junction (which meant he had the wonderful experience of being Lori Saunders' boyfriend).

Not surprised in the least. It was a mistake starting him in game 1. He should've been given game 2.

Big mistake. JV doesn’t have the movement any more. He has 1 year left of being any value.
