This is just smelling like a Kansas-Duke final. That will make me physically ill.

The Michigan women are in the elite eight. Naz Hillmon is a special talent.
:lol Goodness, this rings a bell from fifteen or twenty years ago! The Spartans were upset early in the tournament by...was it Charleston? George Mason?..and I wrote on here that at least the ladies were "getting it done". You called me "pathetic" for even bringing it up. :lol

Are we now grasping at blue and yellow straws, Matt? :lol

Your memory is better than mine. I can absolutely imagine saying that, but I don't remember.

Kansas won the choke bowl today, but I like Villanova to shut that offense down. They hold a great offensive Houston team to 44 points. I like Villanova against the winner of tonight's game.

They/them, non-binary and proud.

With Moore out, Nova doesn't have a prayer vs. Kansas.

Thanks, Honeyman. IIRC, George Mason advanced pretty far in the tournament and I said I couldn't feel so bad losing to one of the best teams in the country. :lol That really made me "pathetic" in Matt's eyes. :razz

Back on topic, I'm sure the Final Four will be competitive, but it consists of no one outside the "old guard"; i.e., no one I can root for. I stopped filling out brackets a few years ago. I suppose if there's anyone I could get behind it would be 'Nova.

I keep hearing this stat that NC had never played Duke in the tournament. That seems literally impossible given how deep both teams have gone so many times.

They are NEVER matched up in the same regional, so the only way they could meet is in the FF or championship game.
