The Michigan Panthers have selected QB Shea Patterson for their first pick! Word has it that he fits Jeff Fischer’s system. I am jacked for a real professional team in this town even if they aren’t playing in town to start.

Will they ever? I don't see any urgency from the USFL to nail down locations for these teams in home areas. I think its possible tey mayjust try to go with a traveling team type model, which would be absolute garbage.

They are playing now on MSNBCSNL, trailing 17-0 at the half.
For the record, I think Da Mitten could use a professional sports team with a feline name.

They seemed doomed because ESPN fails to even report their scores. Nothing on ESPN.com.

Maybe the USFL will expand. And then the NFL will use the USFL as their minor league system.
