With replacement cost at $80 million I doubt the maintenance company insurance coverage is more than one or two million. Facilities like this have an umbrella policy that cover just about every stupid situation. I'm sure the OHCC insurance company will be going after that maintenance company but there's not much to get.Robert Faygo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 9:34 amThe battle between insurance companies will be interesting.
It's interesting the article quotes fire officials as saying it's not anyone's fault. If officials stand by that once the investigation concludes, I'm thinking like you say, it may be a futile cause for OHCC's insurance to expect compensation from the maintenance companies insurance.TC Talks wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 11:40 amWith replacement cost at $80 million I doubt the maintenance company insurance coverage is more than one or two million. What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done at work?Robert Faygo wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 9:34 amWow. Looking at the video, they knew -- but apparently didn't call for help. Giving firefighters an extra 5 minutes to respond might have made a big difference. Or not.
